My husband is usually the grill master around here, but last week he was working late a couple nights so the kids and I commandered his grill! We had so much fun that we might not give it back to him. ;-) We grilled up carrots in foil with a little coconut oil, some cod wrapped in lemon slices, steaks, and these brussel sprouts. The kids made up the veggies in foil while I worked the grill - a nice system. I hope you love them as much as we did. (Oh and sorry about the blurry, funky colored photos... Foil gives off wicked color casts and I was too lazy to change to a more appropriate lens the the day. )
Cleaned and sliced brussel sprouts
Drizzle of Coconut Oil
Cloves of garlic
1/2 vidalia onion, sliced
Salt and pepper
And here's my children's contribution to the blog. They wanted to show that whole foods make you strong.
Christian, wife, mother, home educator, photographer, cook, and chemist... That's me. I love to research, learn, spend time with my family and in God's word.
I am passionate about real food, real fitness, and all things creative keep me sane: photography, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and photography (Yes, I listed that one twice.).
I started this blog a long while back and it seems to be morphing as I am growing in the Lord. I hope to be an encouragement to other moms. Your comments encourage me!
